At Four Oaks, we desire to equip our children with an understanding of the truths of God's Word, the grace of the Gospel, and the character of God, so that they might worship the Lord with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength.

Our spring theme is God's Great Gospel, and we will be focusing our scripture memory on the message that Jesus saves sinners. Each HeartGuard verse comes from two passages of scripture--Romans 3:10-11,19-31 and Ephesians 2:1-10 and can be found in the bulletin and on the front page of the website. We trust that these verses will provide wonderful opportunities for families to memorize the God's Word together and meditate upon key Biblical truths related to the gospel of God. Also, feel free to download a spring memory verse placemat for Toddlers/SonSeekers and Faithful Followers/Kingdom Kids. The list of Elementary HeartGuard verse can be found here.
Mother-Daughter Activity for 4th-5th grade girls and their moms is Saturday, March 20th, from 10:30am-12pm at the Martin's Home. Contact Cassidy Summers with any questions.

• God-glorifying: We aim to teach children that God, not man, is the hero of every Bible story and that He deserves all praise and glory.
• Heart-focused: We want to see children’s hearts radically transformed by the Spirit of God. Our aim is to get past the outward behavior to the heart of each child.
• Word-saturated: We desire for children to be filled with scripture, seeing that the Word of God is living and active and speaks authoritatively to every situation.
• Gospel-centered: We believe the message of the cross is central to all of life. The good news of Jesus Christ is our only hope yesterday, today, and forever.
• Mission-minded: We hope that children will treasure Christ more than anything and proclaim Him to the world.
• Discipleship-driven: We seek to partner with parents in intentionally pursuing the hearts of children by presenting Christ to them in both word and deed.
